Off the Highway

Today: 22C, sunny, dry
I got off the Highway and took the Bonnie for a ride along the scenic twisties. The trip took us around the Hurum peninsula (just outside Oslo), and took three hours - or so. Great ride! You should have been here!

Here you can see what a short section of the trip was like. This is from the East side of the Drammen's fjord (west side of the peninsula):

This is taken along that strech of road:

While this is typical scenery from the West coast of the Oslo Fjord (East side of the peninsula). Lots of islands, bays, and marinas. I am happy that I do not have a sailboat, as that would have given me great grieft in deciding to spend the day riding or sailing.:

Although there were a few of these signs, I met no Moose (or Mousse, either):

Very nice! Beautiful country. Looks like you have lots of great areas for riding. Bike looks good and the pics are inviting.

Monte

What kind of engine guard is that?

Thanks Monte. Those are the Triumph Engine Dresser bars. I really like the look of them, but realize that they are more cosmetic than protection.

That sounds like a great idea, Henry. I've sent you a PM with my email-address. Let's get in touch.

Thumbs up Beautiful!

TB - that is an awesome route and it brings back fond memories of the 2 times I visited Norway (once in the Summer & once in the Winter) What many people might not realize, and as I have said before, those pictures that TB took could very well be at 4am in the morning because in the Summer it never gets dark and in the Winter it never gets light. Oh would I like to ride all day and then Tee-Off on the first hole around 3am in the morning!
Oh did I forget to mention that the Norwegian women are some of the most beautiful women on Earth?

I'm extremely jealous. That looks like beautiful country. I lived in Alaska for several years, reminds me of that.
