Maybe because I am older but I kept losing my first two digits to numbness when I had them set upside down and kind of canted toward the ground. I put them upright and leveled them off a bit and I can ride for hours with no numbness. I guess leaning that hard on my wrists was messing with me.

are you having the dealer install them? Why?

I have mint mounted upside down (the lower way), it's very close to Thruxton clip ons but wider. I also have rearsets. Very sporty riding position.

I have M bars on my bonnie.
And I installed them as they were originally intended (in the lower position).
Im still up in the air as far as comfort level goes. The faster you go the more comfortable it is , due to the wind lift on your torso. Putting around town can be a bother to the wrist if not set up at the optimum angle. I adjusted mine 3 times till I got it right.
Gives the whole front end a different feel, with a feeling of alot faster turn in.
Great for knee dragging and such.
Watch out for slow manuvering moves at first as it will be a totally different animal from the stock bars.
But one thing is for sure!
BEST LOOKING BARS AVAILABLE FOR A BONNIE.
Just my .02

thx for the info.

so.. is lower 'right side up' or 'up side down'.
seems to be some confusion.

I'm going to call BS on you here. If you're dragging a knee you're probably dragging the bike on top of you too.
