Madss?

I'm posting this not to start any trouble for this vendor, but rather to see if anyone has had any issues dealing with MADSS.

I have an order that I placed on the 13th that has yet to ship and needless to say I'm starting to get concerned. Is this the typical turn around for an order with these guys?

Thanks,

Buckeye71

Arrow No Problems here!

I bought my K&Q seat from them and used the Free Friday S&H promotion and had no issues. As a matter of fact I'm waiting until this Friday to buy one of the locking Triumph gas caps - they seem to have the cheapest price on this, no tax and free S&H, what more could you ask for besides a Extremely Gay Paul Smith Bonneville!

I bought a tach kit for my Bonnie and a few shirts from them. When my order arrived the shirts were the wrong size. I called them they were very nice and they resent the correct shirts and told me to keep the others for my trouble.

Good people and great prices!

Stock

I think you have to give it a little time. They can't have in stock all of the items in all of the catalogs in all sizes. No doubt for many items, they have to order them in to ship them out. I have only used them once and they shipped promptly, a T shirt. I am now waiting for a helmet part for my Shoei which I am sure they didin't have in stock. It has only been 9 days including a Saturday and Sunday so I think you need to be a little patient.

I have no problems with orders taking some time, as long as vendors are up front about it and I'm not stuck guessing when I'll receive an order.

I was just curious how others experiences were with them and if I had anything to be concerned about. From the few responses I've seen I've got nothing to worry about.

Arrow What you should expect!

Bucky - what you should expect at the very least is a followup email explaining what's up with your order, if anything is back ordered and when they expect to ship! If anything is back ordered you would be in your right to tell them to send out what they have and send the rest as it comes in; ANYTHING that is sent out from backorder should be sent to you without S&H charge. I expect nothing less and New Bonneville agreed with me on this point and only is charging me for the very first shipment - all back ordered stuff is shipped free of charge.

I ordered some tor's for my Scrambler from MADSS and when they came in they were actually for a Daytona 675, the guy was going to get the right ones sent out even before he had the returned pipes so they do try to make sure everyone stays happy but I couldn't wait another 7 days for a total of 14 days for pipes. The free shipping does take some time.

I've ordered a lot of items from madss and haven't had any trouble. You should get an order processed email after making the order. Then you'll get an order shipped email once they get the item in stock.

The only 'con' is that turn around is about two to three weeks. So if you're expecting your item the same week that you've ordered it you'll be disappointed.
