Triumph short rear fender
Is the Triumph short rear fender (mudguard) basically the same gauge steel as the stock fender or is it more "heavy duty"?

I guess I am asking if I should just chop my existing fender or if it is worth buying the short fender and replacing? The stock fender seems kind of flimsy.

Thanks, Greg

Chop the sucker...
Personally, I'm going to chop the fender myself with a dremmel. I can't see spending $150 (or whatever it is) per fender to do something that I can do while being destructive!

I'm going to go ahead and guess that it is the same material.

chop it
I was tossing around the same thing about a week ago. Not sure if it would come out good or not if I did it myself. But D9 had a great write up with pics that I followed and took my time. It came out great! Cost me about 6-10 bucks for a mod I am very happy with. Here is a link to the post...
