What the Heck??

What pliers do you use to get the crankcase breather tube off to clean. Looks like the end is sealed. Or is there a different way to clean it?

do you mean the rubber hose that goes to the airbox? it has a spring clip and comes off easy...unless you mean something else?

Success kinda

Thanks Geoff, I got it off yesterday. All the bikes that I have owned had a spring clamp as you mentioned. This is some kind of quad tension new fanged super clamp never seen one before on any thing I ever owned.

Maybe the Brits ran out of clamps and had this lying around.

I cut it off and installed a normal man's clamp.

Now that's a pretty terminal error - cutting that particular clamp off will lead to premature main bearing failure. Didn't you know that?
