Question Bubs & Saddlebags??

I bought a used bubs system for bonny, I may go the black route as the chrome is a little tired.
They look to be pretty short and upswept. Did anybody use bubs with Triumph fabric bags? I am wondering if they'll work without burning up. I am not installing them right away

Geoff,

Those Bub mufflers are rather short and kick-up a fair bit. Fabric saddlebags doesn't sound like a good idea to me, but ultimately you just need to try it.

Going black on the system does sounds like a wonderful idea.

thanks, Mike, hope you are healing ok. I think I'll wind up using the bubs just to hoon around with, and use a tailbag if I need to carry anything. I'm going to try that "HD" wrinkle finish high heat stuff, I'll let you know how it goes

click on the link in my signature "Sweat's bonnie" for a look at my black bubs. I only did the headers, but I've thought about doing the whole system...
