I had these on my 2001 Bonneville. Got them off E-Bay but when the box came the return address was Speciality Spares. I liked them alot, sound was loud, they are a straight through free flowing muffler, but good tone. I didn't have them that long before I crashed the bike so I can't say anything about the quality. Looked good out of the box. I just put another set on my 2002 a few days ago.

They sure look a lot like emgoes. if so, they are pretty good. cheaper from Dennis Kirk or JC Whitney, but you have to source adapters and clamps

Those are Emgo brand. Get the adapters from Bellacorse or Newbonneville.com.

Yeah, the ones in the pic are NOT the SS peashooter system. The headers in the pic are stock headers, also. I had the Specialty Spares Peashooter system on my '03 for about 3000 miles. They are L O U D ! I have yet to hear anything as loud. My son's V-star custom 1100 with straight pipes was not nearly as loud! The bonnie ran very good with them; however, the quality of the header pipe mounts is not very good, IMHO. If you do get some, elongate the mounting holes on the headers so there is plenty of positioning play when mounting the header pipes--otherwise expect to burn out the header gasket within 500 miles.
The header pipes will blue, turn gold, etc. just like the stock headers regardless of any claims to the contrary by the SS person. One other complaint I have heard is the header pipes mount too far away from the bike to get rid of the kink and this causes them to scrape on serious twisty riding--I was not riding that seriously when I had them on my bonnie, so I cannot verify that complaint.
My biggest complaint was with the SS person--used car salesperson type promises and delays and excuses, etc. My thoughts are the system is overpriced by a factor of 2 times what it should be. There are much better sounding systems and better quality systems out there for similar dollars, IMHO. The silencers in the above picture can be had for 1/4 or less than the cost of the SS Peashooter system, and it sounds much better and is not ear-splitting, IMHO. Just for reference, I rode my ol' '66 BSA Hornet for years with straight pipes...it had 11.2:1 compression and I don't remember it being any louder than my '03 with the SS Peashooter system EXCEPT when I had the BSA over 5000 rpm.
On the plus side, the headers have no crossover. The low -end and midrange was stronger rather than weaker with those headers on. I still believe the crossover on the stock headers is so far from the head to result in power and torque reduction across the rpm band.
My recommendation: Keep shopping.....TOGA, TOGA, TOGA

The mufflers in the picture were bought off E-Bay. They were cheaper than SS had on their site, but I remember seeing the box and the return address, which surprised me at the time. I think I paid $100.00 for the pair! They are loud but I like the sound. The new pair I have on my Bonnie now I also got off E-Bay for $140.00 including a set of brackets to mount them to the New Bonnevilles. I'll take a pic tomorrow. I also have removed my crossover pipe on my 2002's stock headers before having them ceramic coated and it runs very strong. I know there are much better quality mufflers for the Bonnies and would love to have a set, but price is a concern for me.

Redbird,
So are you happy with the togas, sounds like you are. I want a loud deep bass sound, how are they? I also want more low end torque if possible, so should I get new headers without a crossover? Thanks for you input.

If you do a search for them on the forums, or youtube at that, i believe somebody posted a sound clip of one a couple of weeks back.

jfenton,
I am very happy with the Togas for both performance and sound. I have not noticed them getting any louder in the last 15000 miles. I haven't done anything to my bike performance-wise since putting on the Togas and installing the NARK (with proper jetting)--except to get an igniter with the rev limiter set at 8100 rpm. The low and mid-range torque is plenty for me with the stock header pipes with the crossover. If I were going to go with headers without the crossover, I think I would have the stock headers modified--they fit the bike.
