Is this something worth installing with sixty8 solo seat? If so, simple under seat plug unplugging, two screws and voila? What do I do with the license plate holder? Is this basically stock Thrux mudguard fitted to Bonnie?

It is the same as a Thrux rear guard. I ended up buying a Thrux guard on ebay for dirt and spraying it Black. Here's the result with Lucas lights and Thux gel seat + 68 cowl:

The NB ones are made from FRP. If you do buy a composite one, don't forget to spray the underside for protection and dulling the sound.
