Question about front rim damage

I'm experiencing a slight vibration in the front end of my T100. I swapped out a Dunlop 501GT with only 4k miles for a new one, thinking the problem was a cupped tire. It was, but only partially. I even had the old tire and wheel spin balanced again to assure it was in balance (by a different shop) and it was fine.

Here's my question. Since I've hit no potholes that would have bent the rim, is it possible for the rim to have been bent on a tire changing machine? I've never had a problem with the wire wheels on either my BMW R100Gs or my now departed W650, but am now having issues with my T100.

I cannot see any obvious bend, but ..............................??

Anyone else ever had a rim damaged when a shop changed a tire?

I'm at a loss for a solution. Any other possible causes?

Bob
