Thrux is running at around 5k going 80, climbs to 5.5k at 85-90. Wondering if she is due for a gear change, or do you all think this is a healthy RPM. (Highway commuting, as the mountains she does just fine!)

My T100 which has a 19 tooth c/s sprocket runs about 4500 at indicated 80.

my 2001 bonnie runs about 4200-4500 rpm @ 80 mph with the 19T.

Mine does 80 at 4500 to 5000 rpm on an 18T sprocket.
100mph at 6000 rpm

790cc 2003 T100 Bonneville. 18T Front Sprocket, AI Removed, 125 Mains, 40 Pilots, Thruxton Needles, 1 Shim,3mm Air Hole, Mixture screws 3 1/4 turns out left carb, 3 turns out right carb, Unifilter, NH Belmouth, NH Classic Togas with no mutes inserted, Stock Ignitor Unit. Hagon 320mm rear shocks & progressive fork springs. Last measured. 61.60 hp, , Max torque 48.40 in 5th gear at the rear wheel at 7200 rpm, 105 mph in 5th at 6500 rpm.

My Thrux does 4500rpm at 80 with the 19t. The one tooth up is about a 300rpm save on the engine and doesn't seem to mind in stop n go traffic. I'll probably change the rear for a little more upper end since most of my travels are highway. For some reason on the 18t and crankin' it hard, I kept trying for a 6th gear.
