Unhappy Scratched windscreen help!!

Yup it's official I'm an idiot.Washing my bike the other day with one of those sponges that has a scrubby on one side and was not even thinking when I scrubbed right over my windscreen and tank with the scrubby side. Polished out the tank pretty well but what do I do with the screen.I know I have seen threads about taking scratches out but did a search and did not find anything. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thanks Mark

If the scratches are not too deep there are several plastic polishes available at an automotive center...get the type that is used to polish plastic headlamp lenses...I think Mother's, or Mequiers makes one

Do you have the Triumph screen? If so, be very careful with any plastic polish (Meguiars/Mothers, etc.) I tried rubbing out some very light scratches in my shield and only succeeded in removing some type of coating that is on the shield. Now those areas look worse than the scratch. My shield is from 2003, so it will probably get replaced next year. The coating is almost a very light shading, underneath is clear.

Ah, see from your signature the screen is a Givi. Test an inconspicous area first!

Anyone else have this issue with the Triumph Roadmaster shield?

My buddie uses it so I tried it a while ago and yes it is amazing and I don't know why?? I also shave with it and brush my teeth with the lemon flavor.

Serious- I didn't try it for a year and then in June I stopped by his place for the night to go on a road trip and in the morning I used it to clean my bike (I had just put on 1100 miles) and I said "windshield too?" he said "yep" and I couldn't believe it!! I have to find out what is in it.
