Oil Thread..

Need a change soon and wanted new input now that we can't search the old threads. (if we can, let me know how!)

I know there are a lot of opinions on this. I live in Central Pennsylvania and ride about 9 months unless the winter is mild, and use the Bonnie for every day stuff (errands, commutes) as well as pleasure.

Mobil one oil, Mobil one oil filter M108. Or Pure one oil filter.
I cut both of these filters open myself and they are well made.

Sounds good Stealth. Any more info regarding the NAPA oil filters for Triumph and someone else mentioned that the 14mm dia. crush washer by Honda works. If all this be true, I won't need a dealer for that.

Exclamation oil etc

I use Amzoil 20/50 here in Fla. Works great!! Been using NAPA Gold 1358 filters w good resuklts. Made by WIC. In the north I think i would use Amzoil 10/40? Maybe not? It gets real hot here & I had clutch chatter w/ mobil1. Not there w/ Amzoil 20/50. Bud has 5000 mi on it & still goin strong. You will get a lot of opinions on oil threads. Each to his own? All NAPA stores hrere only carry Amzoil bike synthetic oil. My racing bud (20+ yrs) swears by it- all he has ever used. I figured I had t ogive it a try since Wally world was oughta V-Twin mobil 1. Never thought Id be able to tell the difference- but I can! I am stayin here now. The NAPA gold filters are good. Looks like a triumph filter w/ different lettering. All the PD's here use them so they cant be all bad? They give me their discount as well. Keep it clean is the most important thing!!
