>>>...can't do spell check or load pictures as I did before, con only post a link to a picture.
Not sure how you thought you could "load" a picture before. It was just an image tag even then, and you had to host the file on a server somewhere or have it in a member photo album here.
The easiest and best mannered thing to do in the new system (since it doesn't waste everyone's bandwidth on humongous pictures they may not care to see) is to use the Manage Attachments button a little ways below the message composition box. It lets you upload a picture-- within certain size limits-- directly from your computer to triumprat.net as a file attachment.
It shows as a thumbnail, like the one at the far bottom of this post, just above my signature, which anyone interested can click to see the larger version.
If you want to inflict the full picture on us in the middle of the message anyway, and have it hosted somewhere, you can also still do that. There's no image link generator for you, but as HedgeFundGeek showed, all you have to do is understand how to write a valid bulletin-board style IMG tag or ATTACH tag yourself. At the bottom of the page where you are reading this message is a link that says "[ I.M.G. ] Code is On" (minus the dots). If you click that link, you'll see an example of how to write the tag to point to a picture in a member album or on another server, as in:
Each board moderator can apparently select which features work in their forums, so this might not be true everywhere on the site. Here, at least, there's plenty of flexibility for posting pictures.
>>>Oh ya, is anyone else getting a ton of junk email after getting a new pass word form RAT?? Or is it just me, it's like someone gave out my email address?
Nope. To be sure the password info could get through, I gave Shawn an address that has no spam filtering at all, but has not been discovered by many spammers yet. No change whatsoever in the number of junk mailings or who they are from.
Most likely, someone you correspond with allowed some spyware to sneak on their machine and harvest their address book. A coincidence, but definitely a bummer.
