New Bonnie T100 Whoooeeee!!!

Just got a new 2007 T100 Bonnie in Black\White Whoooeeee!!! Just come back to biking after a 20 year layoff. I had a number of Jap bikes in the past but always wanted a Bonnie. WOW! what a ride it's the most fun I have ever had on a bike. Just great to go round the windy roads of the Suffolk countryside here in England. Great Forum, especially like the Bonnie picture thread, just love the custom jobs our American friends have done to their rides!!!

Congrats barneys! Feels good to be back in the saddle again doesn't it?

I took a break from riding for seven years and just last week picked up my bonne, I never realized just how much I missed riding.

Thumbs up

I feel ya brother! I took a chunk of time off myself and always wanted a Triumph, BSA or Norton growing up so I know why you had to pull the trigger on the Bonnie. You are finally home and feel free to ask away - there are many knowledgeable people here that will save you an immense amount of time, money and aggravation!

Welcome Back!

Kevin,

Your story sounds very familiar and you'll find common ground on this site! My last Bonnie was a '70 T120 and I had a Honda or two in between, but they didn't ring the bell like the Bonnie does.

Went to Bike Week in Daytona this past February and saw that Black and Red T100 and it was love at first sight! Getting on it was like a 37 year flashback and I learned that you CAN go home!

Enjoy that beauty and ride safe brother!

Just remember, the roads and YOU are 20 years older now, and things have changed, take it easy out there.

Welcome home. Enjoy the new ride. It will be hard to get that grin off your face most of the time! Do be careful as you become familiar with riding again and with a new bike. Several studies have shown that the highest accident rate is within 6 months of getting a new bike and with "new" riders, ditto. You aren't a new rider and things come back quickly, but often not as quickly as we think. Post some pics when you get a chance.

Congrats,
Monte

Nice bike

Assume EVERY driver is on the PHONE and NOT paying attention. If you don't know what to look for, get to MC school and get tips from seasoned riders. Bikes are a blast but as i found out many years ago "you can be 100% in the right and still (almost) dead wrong."

Talking

Welcome to the fold! I totally know how you're feeling. I have an '07 black and red T100. It became an obsession for me overnight. Mine is bone stock and I love it. So I can only imagine how it's going to be when I do some of the typical mods to it.
