New silencers for me Bonny.

It's probably been asked thousands of time but, before I sink 600 bucks into some D+D's for my '06 T100 are they worth it? and will it make it sound like my old '72?
Cheers.
Tusk.

Gee......I'm not sure about that!

I've been told from a very experienced Triumph dealership owner/rider/enthusiast that the Norman Hyde Toga slip-ons are the best he's ever heard on a Bonneville. And he had no interest in selling me anything either! D&D's are good but quite harsh, you need to be on very good terms with your neighbors if you crank a set of those "silencers" up. When I upgrade from my TOR's (borderline too conservative) I will go with Norman Hyde or Predators from British Customs

Good luck!

Regarding the Preds, the sound on my '06 Bonneville seems to be deeper, more rumbley than I remember getting on my '72 Daytona back in the day. My buddy had a '71 Bonneville back then, I like the new music better, and the quality of the Preds is top notch.

DandD's

I put DandD's on my bike about 3 weeks ago. I love them. They are crazy loud so beware. Really beware. As far as preformance goes, coupled with an ARK, these pipes really wake the bike up.

All in all I love them but they are not for the timid.

Thumbs up Predators!

I have the BC Predators and they sound awesome especially when you crack the throttle wide open. Funny - my Triumph dealer and mechanic guru said the Predators were the best Triumph pipes they ever heard and that my 2007 Black with BC performance package was the best idleing Triumph they ever set up. They are now sold on British Customs and so am I!

I agree with Hedge. Pred's are pure 110% from the fit and finish to the sound.
By the way they are stainless steel.

My BellaCorse Teardrops make my T100 sound just like the Meriden Triumphs of old. It's probably because the muffler used in this kit (like several other kits) is the original replacement item for Meriden Triumphs. In the bargain you get clamps, adaptors, hangers (with centerstand stops), and a jetting kit that gets you in the neighborhood (though I found the #128 main to be a little rich). All for $389. Heck to my eyes they even look good.

I run Sprint Exhaust, and from some folks at Pete's Cycle in Baltimore familiar with Meridien Bonnevilles, these pipes replicate the original sound very well.

Excellent fit/finish and, according to the mechanics, easy to install.

ride on
