I recently bought a 2001 Bonne and noticed the speedo was in kilometers and was told its a canadian triumph.

Does anyone know about them or is it just a normal bike made for canada?

Anyone familar with these models?

Its the scarlet red/silver bonne.

Thanks,
Dave

If it's scarlet red and silver it probably belonged to the RCMP as a pursuit vehicle. Up here in the north when the snows recede there's often eskimos that speed in their dogsleds, and the scarlet and silver bonny with skis strapped to the front wheel is a well known sight. :-D

Other than that its probably bog standard.

Yup gotta agree. definately a DUDLEY DORIGHT Replica.

However it may be an original DD Model. Did it come with the tacho? if so a " Genuine Dudley Doright Iniut Pursuit Twin".

It does have a red bubble-gum light attached to to the headlight and wig-wags attached to the turn signals and has that annoying yelp-sounding siren when in pursuit of snowshoe thieves...

Most Yanks couldn't find Canada on a map, that's why we haven't become the 51st state..........yet.

In all seriousness, it most likely is a "normal" bike made by Triumph. The "abnormal" bikes have the speedos marked in miles and are made for the US and the UK.
