Just curious if one can go over the 110/90 & 130/80 to something wider? I know it's possible, but does it go against what Triumph recommends?

I stayed with a stock size on the front and went up one size on the rear. 100/90-19 / 140/80-17. The new rear tire has raised the rear ride height slightly, so I was afraid of going to a wider lower profile on the front. Doing so would have changed the bikes geometry even more if I would have went with...say, a 110/80. I believe my stock trail numbers would been compromised enough to maybe create instability at higher speeds. Raising the rear and lowering the front puts more load on the front tire. It may turn quicker, but can create a high speed wobble or worse, the dreaded tank slapper. IMO.

When you change tires and most do. Try and look for tires that have similar total height.

I use a 140/80 R and 100/90 F. Michelin Anakees. Rides great. No issues.

150 tkc 80 in the rear. anything else requires an offset. My coworker has a 180 rear on his thruxton.
