Thanks guys, must admit I could stare at her for hours.... then I remember how fun she is to ride!!!
IceSeven, more pics will follow this week, but in the meantime here's another...
Leeroy, thanks for the tips. Never actually done the process before so any more tips (or pointer to a web page that describes it) would be much appreciated!
Cheers,
Ian

Very cool! The accessories that you have really set it off. I have the headlight screen and TOR's on order and soon I hope to fit the engine guards.
Enjoy!

WOW. I love it. Is it only available in the UK? They should have included the black cam covers too! I suppose you could also buy the black tank and black fenders to give any scrambler the look....
I love it though, congrats

Hey jamesravenwood, yeah DIY would be possible, but you'd also need the side panels as they're matt black too.
For the pedantic among you, matt and matte are both legitmate spellings of the word (check your dictionary). In any event, the name of the paint given by the manufacturer is "Matt Black", hence that is the name of the colour no matter how you spell the word for "flat, non-gloss finish" in your area!
As for availability, that's an interesting question...
Apparently, it is a limited run that was originally done for the german market (maybe 20 or 30 bikes). For whatever reason, Triumph have now made it available in the UK. Not sure about availability globally, but if they don't plan to make any more than the 20 or 30, then it may be unlikely.
Still, I'm planning a 6 week ride around the US next year, so there'll be at least one of them over there, for a while at least!!!

Picture links are broken for me so I went to the site. The black engine with the black tank and black wheels would make the bike look crazy.
Here's some black wheels and black engine for you.
BTW, matt(e) black for the scrambler and the speed triple are only available as non US models.

I really like the black rims as well. Looks like I've got my next couple mod ideas now.
