I just bought (what I think is) a 2007 T100 that is white and orange, similar to my two '66 T120's. After buying the bike I went to the Triumph website and don't see that color combo offered for 2007 - did I end up with a 2006? This is a nice bike - lots different than my old Trumpets and my Kawi. I rode around Flathead Lake in Montana on the T100 to help break it in (about 140 miles) this afternoon - what a sweet ride!

01 Kawasaki W650 - a pretty good copy of the Triumphs and Kawi W1
07 T100 - 1 day old

The bike will be dated on the frame tag in front of the tank.

I nearly bought one of those in the UK.....here they were a 2005 - 2006 colour way, but still look the biz.

There were a limited number of "early VIN" 2007 T-100 in white/orange brought to USA. The color is not featured in '07 brochures.

Your VIN will very likely confirm that:
1] The bike is an '07
2] It was built in factory #2 [Hinckley]

Good on ya, mate.

Stew is right! I have a 2006 Tang and Opal and have seen one with 2006 date on frame tiled as a 2007,

By the way great color choice

Thanks guys! I checked the data plate and it is 06/06, but it is indeed registered as a 2007 The VIN is SMTK910K147J281008
Do I have the 790cc engine or an 865? Any differences between 06 and 07 that I should be concerned about? This bike was a demo and had a couple hundered miles on the clock. They also had a red and black at the dealer, but the white and orange caught my eye as both of my '66 T120Rs have Alska white with orange/gold pinstriping on the tank. The pipes are already blue - I guess I'll have to remove the emissions ***** like I did on my W650.

Only the pre-2005 T-100's had the 790's.

You sir, have the bestest colour scheme in the whole wide world.
