Can someone tell me the standard jet sizes for a 2005 SPeedmaster please.

According to my manual they are:

Main 110
Pilot 40

Now after talking to someone they reckon its 110 and 42

Any help??

Because these bikes are sometimes prepped at the dealership, and sometimes not, it is not that unusual to find different jets than the ones that are called for stock. Sooo.
if its good, ride on. if you think it could be better, get on in there and have a look. or if you're just curious...

120`s ?? hmm, is that a 870 Speedy or a 790?

Hmmm.. I used pats jet calculator and that reckons with the STANDARD needles, 1 shim, TOR`s and a uni filter 125 will be spot on.

If I use the Thruxton needles then main jet drops back down to 122 no shims...

I hate the thought of having to put it together then take it apart etc etc

I can second that setup on my '06 when it was stock and also, they are the 860cc engines.
... mine are currently 42 pilot and 130 mains

I got rid most of the "pop" by adjusting my mix screws a bit richer.

I cant wait... I have a D-Tool on order from the US of A.. just so expensive over here in the UK.

I removed the AI and the popin is not as bad but still enough to annoy, also the pipe headers are BLUE and the bikes yellow and black so blue dont even look right
