Been thinking about adding a fly screen. How do these affect the handling in cross-winds?
No change? Better? Worse?

I have the oem Triumph Fly Screen, on my Scrambler.
I like it, for looks and some head wind and bug relief; but, I don't notice any effect on crosswinds.

Ditto. No real change in crosswind-handling. But the fuel-mileage improves, if you care.

I had a triumph screen for about a year. Probably no noticible difference, other than the ugly $220 piece of plastic on the front of my bike.

No crosswind difference for me either.
I have the DART, and it takes about 3 mins to remove when I am not doing long trips.

I find the Triumph Fly Screen, a cool looking piece of useless plastic :-D Oh by the way do not use the pop rivits supplied, replace with small bolts for quick removal :-D

Do a search on screens, lots of comments have been made on this topic.
Height and arm length seem to be a factor.
Many see no value, just as many think it is worthwhile. Depending on your personal dimensions it could be worth the money. I am 6 ft and think is improves the ride on long hauls. Under 50 mph not a big difference.

Thanks, guys.
Smac, the Dart is what I'm look at. Just a little something to cut the wind blast a bit.
Never been a fan of the look and buffeting that comes with bigger Shields.

Hey JC,
I'll just add my two cents as well. Just installed the Dart. It is a high quality piece, 2 minutes to remove and reinstall, but really does very little to "cheat the wind". (I'm 5'-10" by the way)
