Thanks to those that emailed / pm`d me regarding the upgrade.

My 2005 Speedy has the AI kit removed and the short TOC pipes.

I am looking at either:

Changing to TBS needles with a shim and K&N / UNI replacement filter
OR
a FREAK kit.

At the moment Im trying to work out the cost implications to what Im going to get back.. need to convince the wife if its the freak kit, works out quite a bit so need to get my arguments right before I go in

Any of you can help me convince the wife on the Freak or should I just go the cheap needles / shim / filter route?

You can tell her that having the Freak kit will save you valuable time when you need to remove the carbs because you won't have to mess around with the airbox... and you will, of course, use the time saved to increase the quality time you spend with your loving wife.

How's that??
