I just got my new DandD pipes with an ARK as well. I was reading the directions for the ARK and it said I need to remove my rear tire. Is this really the case? Anyone have expeirence putting one of this kits in? Any pointers?

Thanks,

Andy

If you have a bike jack, you can take one end of the rear shocks off, remove the rear fender, and when you jack the bike up you will have enough room to take the old airbox out and put the new one in between the rear frame legs. Otherwise, you probably would have to remove the rear wheel to get it done

Sounds good to me. I was hoping I wasn't going to have to take the wheel off.

Any more pointers out there?

Honestly ,just pulling the wheel off would be quicker. I just put tires on the other day and it took less than 15 minutes to yank off the rear wheel.

Take a look at the videos posted at Brit Iron Rebels, they detail the whole process.
