Went for my usual ride along Glendora ridge road this morning and managed to meet a Yamaha R6 on a blind corner.
We smacked head to head 25mph - front ends then helmets. He admitted being on the wrong side of the road. No licence, no insurance or ID. The R6 looked like it hit a brick wall, the Bonnie seems mainly cosmetic , mirrors, lights, pegs broken off, front fender but the bars are twisted, My concern is that the front end is hurting and I can't see it. I guess I will have the dealership check it out. No real injuries to speak which is the important thing of course. Saying a prayer tonight and meaning every word of it.

That is always in my mind when on winding roads with blind curves.. I know that for every left turn I make, there is a possibility of another vehicle swinging wide on my side of the road. So far, so good. Sorry it happened to you. Are you hurting?
Thanks for letting us know.

I have a good HMO. It covers Newcastle Brown Ale. Life is good.
Thanks for asking.

Those bonnie's can take quite a hammering it seems, I guess thats why they weigh so much. I had an incident on sunday, the forks look misaligned (which is my main concern) but I think they just need clicking back into position, similar to what happened to a previous bike of mine.

Dang! It's stuff like that as to why I don't like riding Deals Gap! Too many squids in one place.
I had a guy on a GSXR600 fail to yield at a yield sign (with me in a curve) on Saturday - we ended up peg to peg .. rubbin elbows - as I took my hand off the throttle to backhand his dumba$$, my bike slowed significantly ... I was pi$$ed.

Dear God man!!!!!
GLad to hear your kickin, I have not had too many near misses with bikes at Deals Gap but cars, vans etc, seems everyone thinks they are a race driver on that road.
I would defintely get her checked out, just in case.
Looks like your girl kicked his bikes arse. I guess she is butch....

Thank goodness you're okay. Sorry to hear about the Bonnie though. I'd take out that squid, go after his family, and then go to work on him.

No licence? No insurance? This is the time to test those crazy-strong litigation-laws you have there in the States. Skin him to the bone!
