Thanks for the replies. I guess I'll have to flip a coin in the morning...
I'm sure I'll be thrilled either way. If they made the Bonnie in black with the polished engines/covers, it would be a no brainer, but the black is still cool I guess. The silver with the knee pads is a great idea. With gaiters, and Togas it would be sweet too.... Hmmmm....
Thanks again.

Buy your wife a silver one and leave it as a nice cruiser type and buy your self a black one and cafe-racer it.
:-D

I have a black. Love it. I am thinking of replacing front and rear fenders with the silver bobbed ones that triumph is making now. I think that would look pretty neat.

The consensus seems to be black, which can only mean silver is the right choice. There are a lot of Bonnie Blacks out there, plus every other manufacturer sells their own version of a blacked out bike. What used to be tough and stark is now commonplace and boring. Silver or some other color, but not all black.

Ditto on KingBear's thoughts. The silvers seem sleek, and the light color is easily contrasted. My desire was for a black and white T100; if none were available, silver would have been choice two with black and red following third. But like others say, the Bonneville itself is the heart of the matter.
Good luck!

Maybe they'll have both sold out and you'll be left with a black and red T100. That's what happened to me, and I got it for a few hundred less than list. Any color in a Bonnie is cool. If there were pink ones, I'm sure they'd still sell out!

The most important thing here is that your buying a Bonneville - the color is secondary. I am, however, partial to the Special Edition Black since that is what I ordered. It must be the dark side in me that needs things all Black! Anyway - welcome to the club!

OK, try this:
Heads - Black
Tails - Silver
Flip a coin.
If your first reaction is "Well, best two out of three" - you know what color you really want!
(Either way, it's a great bike. Good luck!)

Do what I did.. Buy the black and with the money you save buy the additional Chrome or aluminum engine kit... looks so sweet it will make you cry. Remember folks the golden rule in life:
Fire trucks are Red School busses are yellow and motorcycles are black.
nuff said!
cheers!™
