Hi all, Iv been watching(I like to Watch) this site for the last 6 mouths and love it, its got some great info. thanks to you all.
I brought a 06 speedy in Dec last year,I could have waited for the 07 but I liked the wheels on the 06, I believe I got the last Black one in the state of Victoria. (had to go 200km to get it)
Iv already knocked up 11,000 km and love it, best bike Iv ever owned.

Iv put the thunderbike pips on with 110 jets, I did have 128 but found better pull at lower revs and same top end out of the 110s, black sissy bar/pack rack from newspeedmaster and leather saddle bags.
I'v also got a 73 Norton commando which I was riding before I got the speedy, its hard to get back on the Norton after getting the speedy, but i will get it on Norton club registration soon and just take her out on classic bike events.
Best thing about the speedy is very low maintaince and great brakes, which the Norton dosen't have, It does however have the same top end speed as the speedy, still a great bike for a engine disigned 35 years ago.

Ok that enough whoofling on just thought I'd say hi, and how much I like the site.
:-D

Sorry If I offend you MOA458 It a Aussie larican slag word over here, commonly used, and no I'm not gay, It was the name of my old best friend(dog) bull x staffy tank siting dog, that sadly past away a few years ago, my riding buddies still use it as a nick name for me.

Dear*****,

No, I'm not that easily offended. But otto-the-censor seems to have a problem with it.

Well, before everyone starts to write back, I AM that easily offended, just not by this! :-D

Welcome to the forum.

For everyone else, remember that British English, Aussie English, United States English and Redneck English are not all the same language! :-D

G'day @#$%^&
What a classic Aussie expression. Hey folks we in Aus tend to corrupt the Queens English on a regular basis. We have even been known to corrupt English rhyming slang. Take the American expression 'fanny'. Means something totally different here. I won't elaborate..................
Anyway, welcome to the ever increasing band of Trumpy owners. I rode from Bris back to the Sunshine Coast yesterday. What a wonderful day. 25 degrees, not a cloud in the sky........... did not want to get off the bike........... even after a 260k round trip.
Happy biking

Al.

I think that you jets may be too small and you might be running on the lean side. There is a great site to calculate your jet size its www.dinqua.com. Its a real nice site and has allot of information useful for America and Speedie owners.
