Just wanted to pass this on if anyone has balked at the price of the CRGs. I have CRG Hindsights and they're great but I always thought they were overpriced. On another forum someone talked about these from Cycle Gear that IMHO look almost as good for pretty cheap. Just passing on the link as a year ago I would have jumped at these but since when did I care about saving money on this bike anyway? Looks like they are popular, currently out of stock. Plus, they come in silver.

Those say mini in the description- I wonder how small they are. I just got a new M bar in black that I'm getting ready to mount and was trying to decide which mirrors to use. I was possibly going to get the Napoleons but I like the CRGs too - decisions, decisions.

Adam - they look to be roughly the same size as CRGs to me, here's a couple of shots from the site where I saw them. These are the only two shots of them mounted but it gives a better idea of proportions.

I plan on ordering my mirrors soon - I'll let you know if I order these and how they are.

2112- What did you do with the original mirror mounting holes in the throttle control, etc.

From what I've heard, the Motrax mirrors are okay quality. Certainly serviceable for the price. Here are a few bullet point comparisons;

1. Both have good glass
2. CRG is machined in the USA
3. Motrax is stamped in China
4. Motrax do not fold up like the LS CRG
5. Every part of the CRG is replaceable, item by item
6. Motrax is cheap enough to get a couple pair in case you need spare parts

Bottom line; You get what you pay for and my money would go with CRG. But with the price of Chinese knockoffs, it's hard not to at least have a conversation about them.

I bought a pair of the cheap ones on ebay, and I stripped one hole, and had a hard time getting the adapter to seat on one side of my bars. I think the CRG mirrors are worth more, but if you can't afford them, the knock offs will work, just be careful on installation, and mine came with no instructions.
