I've just had an airbox elimination kit put on my bike...it has TOR's and AI removed. The kit came with 150's but it feels like the bike is getting a little too much gas when I open it up....I'm thinking about dropping down jet size.

Anyone have thoughts on this topic?

150 main jets is what should come with an Airbox elimination kit for a 790cc with more open silencers (865's typically run smaller main jets for similar mods). I believe your '07 is an 865 and with TOR's, I would expect the mains to be somewhere in the range nearer 135's. Some of the guys with 865's and TOR's can tell you what they run, and be a lot more informative than me. :-D

Sean at Brit customs said around sea-level with the AI removed and Air-box removed with Predators on a 865cc bonnie you should run 140's and 42's

Thanks to both of you guys for the information. I took it to the shop and I believe they are going to put 135's in it.

Thanks again. I'll post an update when I get her back.

Tom.

Jenks has the Thrux set with 40/140's. I have found the pilots way too lean. BC's suggestion of 42/140's are definitley making her run better, but she's still lean even with 3 turns on the mix. Going with 45's next week after the set arrives with about 2 turns on the mix to start. Might throw on the CEK while I'm at it. :-D

Let me tell you who have not done the basic box cut K&N BC's and jetting... the bike rolls so much faster now it's unbelieveable. Makes it feel as if you really did some motorwork to her, but you didn't. All I can say is NNIIIIICCCE.
