Thanks to the excellent instructions on the wiki by D9 and Loxpump I did the fender bob on the rear. Here's the picture of the results. Sorry for not having a better before pic but the camera battery was dead so I needed to charge it and didn't want to wait for it to start cutting. So I found a prior picture instead.

Very nice job, but why stop there. Bob the front and lose those struts!

Very nice, I'm planning on doing the bob in a bit. But I'm going to get rid of the tail light assembly, that thing looks more at home on an alien space ship than the back of a motor cycle.

The front is next on the list, after that I'll mod the stock turn signals to bring them in closer. depending on how that looks I might replace the taillight assembly with something different.

Stupid question. How did you do it and what tools were necessary other than a hacksaw? I'd like to do this to my bike w/o spending almost 200 bones for a new one from Triumph.

I was going to use my dremel with a cut off wheel, a friend of mine bobbed his fender on his thruxton using a rotozip!

Funkyman,
D9's post on the WIKI site is an excellent how to. He did mine with a dremmel and cut off wheel. Virtually no chipping of paint, and some auto touch up paint on the raw edges to protect from rust. Cost is about as low as any mod gets. Even add a little pinstriping tape.
Bobbed & lowered

Nice job! Give me your address and I'll mail my fender to you this winter... he he.
I don't think your front fender needs anything - the stock struts appeal to me.

Beast I like the shortness. That's about how far I want to go. I'll be using the same style taillight as well. lookin smooth.
