When I purchased my 04 T100 the dealer did not have a lot of information about mods. Strange as it had been sold brand new through him, and probably also most parts. Anyway, he did know that it had TORs - and told me so. Otherwise I assumed that it was stock. But at one point I noticed that it only had a bolt next to the spark plug (which as far as I know is the sign of one mod or another, which?).

Otherwise I am fairly confident that the bike has stock suspension and brakes.

So my question is: Which performance mods can one visually identify (without taking the bike apart)? It would also be helpful with a description of what it is supposed to look like stock vs modded (photos would be GREAT :-) ).

The bolt next to the spark plug means the Air Injection has been removed.

What would be easier, fella, would be if you'd post a pic (or pics) of your new bike, and we could tell you if we see any visable aftermarket parts...

You can take the left side cover off and see if anything was done to the air filter and airbox.

TORS also have a "not for street use" or something like that stamped into it.

First let me introduce my two lovely lasses:

Next, I have two photos of the left side of the bike. One with and one without the side cover. Anybody able to tell me interesting facts about my bike, please contribute :-)

Hi
I see crash bars, AI removed, but under the cover it looks stock with the snorkel in place. Nice pair of lasses!
Considering the snorkel/airbox is in place, I would assume that nothing has been altered, usually the snorkel is the first thing to go.

Thanks Ben. As you understand I was just curious.

Don't think I'll do a lot of performance Moddin' myself. IMO it is quite well powered already. So far the only additions have been Flyscreen, Engine Dresser bars (as you spotted), Leather panniers and Extension bolts. I am more interested in functional stuff.
