Has anyone put a trailer hitch on a New Bonneville? My '07 Bonneville has enough power that it should pull around 200 lbs. with no problems. It sure would make my camping trips a little nicer. I'll bet it would drop my mileage a bunch though. Marc

I've never seen a Triumph tow anything, like the big harleys and wings sometimes do.

I think an R III could tow a "big harley" and a wing simultaneously... along with a car....your boat.... trailer....etc.

Sorry.... I couldn't resist...

A Bonnie, that might be another story...

But checking in with a manufacturer might be a good start.

My Bonnie totes my sidehack just fine with me (large) and my two daughters on board.

No reason to believe it won't tote a trailer.

I kind of answered your question responding (tongue firmly in cheek) to davidc below...

I'm not a big fan of the looks of most modern bike trailers.

But by chance I ran across an old trailer made in Czechoslovakia
or Germany years ago called the PAV 40.

Very period and cool looking small, one wheeled trailer that would look too cool hooked to a Bonnie. There is a lady in Mass. that finds and imports them into the US.

Do a goggle on PAV 40.

Also, I found a Canadian firm that make a knock off version...

As I said in my response to davidc, I push a sideack and three people with my Bonnie.... I'd think you could pull a small trailer.

Enjoy....

I really wish I had my camera handy last weekend at our club race. One of the flat trackers pulled in with an old restored Triumph towing a one rail trailer with his racebike (another older Triumph) on it. Next race if he shows up I'll get a picture.

How would something like that ride? I'm thinking I might prefer that to having tons of stuff bungeed on to my bike with racks and ***** everywhere. Small enough you could wheel it into a motel room...
Anyone ridden with a 1 wheel trailer before? Seems like it would be more natural than a 2 wheeled one/
