Will the Thruxton mufflers fit on a Bonneville?

I heard that you are able to get adaptor pipes or something, has anyone done this, if so how does it look and sound?

thanks

I have Thruxton pipes on my Bonnie and I didn't use adapters. It will take a little bending of the existing header pipes to take out a bit of the bend where the mufflers attach.

Then I had the mufflers and the header pipes welded together. (If/when I replace my pipes, I am going 2 into 1.)

Stock - the pipes are very quiet. I did a baffelectomy and drilled a 1 1/4" hole. Now they sound mean. Some might say that they sound too mean, but I like it. I have heard that this set up is a little louder than Predators.

I just mounted Kliff's old bafflectomized set on my T100. A little too loud & raspy for me, so I made a baffle that fit over the 1 1/4" hole. Like the sound now!

They went on pretty nicely, it took a little wiggling down near the joint. What bent for me was the perforated section on the mufflers not the header pipes. Just make sure you have enough lube and that the clamp remains on the muffler side. It was also a little tricky to get them to bolt to the rear peg mounts but very doable.

Now I just need to figure out how to make the kickstand stop extension. Can anyone share what they have done to make one, pictures would be nice too?

The look & sound is truly unique!!! :-D
