Yesterday, my beloved Bonnie got to spend roaming around a professional race track, with green me on it. I recently enrolled in a bikers-skills-improvement course. In my neck of the wood (Norway) there is a Senior Motorcycle Club (for those over 40) that organizes courses. Courses are open for everybody, and include a set of skill-enhancing exercises. It is all supervised by trained instructors and participants get individual feedback on their performance. The final day is spent at a race track.
I can truly recommend everybody to participate in courses. It certainly helped me to get a better appreciation for the way my bike handles.
Ride safe, and enjoy it!
PS This topic should have been named "Day at the races" (one of the best Queen albums ever), but that could have been confusing.
PPS It is probably not neccessary to mention that my bike was the only one that you could see more chrome and metal on than plastic. Although some of the others were also nice. Each according to his taste :-)
