Somewhere on the net in the past I have seen adapter pipes to allow fitting of other silencers to a Bonneville but I can't remember where.
They were simply a small chrome pipe to match up the Bonneville exhaust down-pipes to normal type silencers or megas etc.
Can anyone help with this?
Thanks

What is the point of it? Are the headers on a Thruxton different from the Standard or T100?

Belacourse has those for $32.00, I used those adaptors for fitting EMGO burgess style mufflers to my bonnie black, I also ordered the stainless steel clamps but wasn't impressed with the quality (some kind of Taiwan made clamp) maybe you can find some chrome clamps.

If you use the EMGO mufflers (60's style replacements) and at $80 a piece they will actually bolt right up to your Bonnie mounting plates (with a different fine thread bolt). So with the adaptors, clamps and mufflers I spent around $200

Emgo makes the adapters and bellacorse sells them. If there are any emgo dealers (usually the independent bike repair shops are) in your area you can support your local business and order through them.

The headpipes are different on the Thruxton than the Bonnie/T100. It is subtle, but definitely different...
