After a year of owning my bike I finally got the scratch together to buy an air box elimination kit and some D and D pipes. I cant tell you how excited I am. I also bought an 18 tooth front sprocket (up from a 17) to drop the RPM's a little. I can't wait until they come. I'm going to have a brand new bike. I've heard claims of 13-15 hp with this set up but Ill be stoked to get half that.

Anybody else running the same setup with some good stories to hold me over.....

Andy

You MIGHT get half that. Those claims are just that, claims.

5-7hp will be typical, but you will definitely feel the gains.

I got more than 5-7 hp...considering stock (on average) gets 50-52 hp at the rear wheels...says the shops around here and a few riders I've talked to about stock baselines (one even had his dyno folded up in his wallet, barely visible). I didn't do a stock baseline...but I know the bike runs a whole hell-of-a-lot stronger after ARK/Straight pipes...

Good Luck!!
