Thanks Carlos! I just hope I have the torque curve that yours does. I am going to do some experimenting with the cams and shims to give the stroker what it needs.

I have a couple of tricks up my sleeve I am going to try.

Greg:
that's the beauty of this projects, we have expectations...
But for the record:
Your motor will be the first ever 1200, IMO will be a beast, is a new arena, results will be great....plus you have the bottle.
Tricks?
what's that?
tricks aside you will be veeeery happy!

Greg-
Better put some sticky on the knee grips and bead locks on the rear wheel. Sounds like you gonna need 'em!
Ayyyeeeeeeee!
PS I didn't see anything in your posts about the clutch.....what's yer plan?

The stock clutch and Barnett red springs. I believe it will hold the engine with no problem, but the bottle may be a different story. If not, I guess the 2nd or 3rd oil change I will replace the clutch. However, I am hoping for the best :-D

bonnieblackinfl,
Whoa hoo, go for it man, the 1100 I have is brilliant, I have only covered 800 miles and apart from clutch slip the motor is brilliant.
When I rebuilt the motor I used Molyibdenum to lube the bearings, I am certain this is causing my clutch slip. I keep changing the oil and washing the plates (green springs so far) and it is helping. Bill is sending out some Red springs, Mikuni 42's and a few other goodies.
I hope you are improving the suspension/brake combination your going to need it.
Look forward to some dyno results when you get finished.
One of the great things about a big motor I have enjoyed most, is it's hidden and the pocket rockets have a bit of a shock when you can stay with them.
