so far I got tor,s other parts coming end of week uni filter snorkel removed would I gain anything by dilling the air box or is the tor,s to restrictive & would,t gain anything how big of hole do you guys drill an 1'' or bigger also thinking of tbs needle's I see some have 1 shim others have 2 whats the deal thinking 130 mains what do you people think

Does your bike have the stock jets now? My guess is with newer TORs you can use a 128 jet if you knock a hole in your airbox. Don't forget to cut out the bottom of your filter too!!

Cut an oval shaped hole in the bottom of the air box. You can use the top cover of the air box as a template. Just trace the line. I used a 1 inch hole saw to cut out the ends of the oval and then connected the holes using a demel tool.
Then cut the bottom out of the uni.

If you search back there have been a number of posts on this (with pictures) and on adding bell mouths to this set up as well.

I am running 130's and 2 shims with speedmaster needles.

Thanks dardoonk & mag 10 I went back about 8 pages on the post must have to go back farther in case i don't find it whats bell mouths thanks again know just have to wait for the ups truck to show up
