I am looking into buying a 2007 Scrambler in France and using it for several months.
Does anybody has any experience in registering a European Triumph in the USA?
Any suggestions on shippers?
Thanks

Find someone who wants to buy one in France and break it in for them for a nice discount off the price. Then buy a nice used one once here. It should come out to about the same expenditure when you factor in shipping, strength of the Euro etc. The prices on Scramblers don't seem to be holding too well anyway. Have fun!

If you order one from a France dealership make sure it is US Specs and the VIN matches a US spec machine or you will not be allowed to import it to the US with out posting a bond and having it converted by professionals, I bought mine here in Germany and made sure it was an American Spec bike with the American spec VIN and Import plate located on the right hand steering down tube...

Your bike looks great but I want to see more detail, angle the bike out of it's own shadow just a bit next time, so we can see all the good stuff.
