Has anyone tried this product to reduce handlebar vibrations at highways speeds (see address shown below)? I replace my stock bars with super bars from BellaCorse and have vintage grips. I want to use bar end mirrors so I think bar end weights may not be feasible. My shop recommended filling up the bars with silicone. I want to get some feedback from riders on this site. Let me know your thoughts on possible solutions or if you have used this product to reduce vibrations. Thanks.

I have the BC Superbars with CRG bar end mirrors. No vibration whatsoever.

Yes... I have one installed and IMO it's a great product. I also have Superbars and bar-end mirrors installed.

Take notice that the BellaCorse Superbars are barley large enough in diameter to be held in the handlebar clamp. In other words, the mounting clamp will bottom out with those particular handlebars installed.

You might try tightening the clamp like crazy, or even installing a thin shim under the clamp to alleviate the problem. IMO, the BellaCorse Superbars need to be ever-so-slightly larger in diameter.

If and when all that fails to stop the vibration... try the BarSnake. I think you'll like it. :-D

I filled my m-bars with sand.Hammered fishing lead weights down the ends then drilled out to fit bar end weights. It worked quite well.
Lexus use sand in their firewalls to deaden vibration/noise.

As others have said, I find that the bar-end mirrors provide enough weight to significantly reduce vibration.

I'm with pabone. You may want to go up on the CS sprocket if you do a lot of highway.

My Handlebars used to buzz like crazy! I started with more comfortable vintage grip. Then I installed bar end weights and they helped a little, but it wasn't until I was bored one morning and synced my carbs (Man, were they off!) that I noticed a big improvement!

Silly me for expecting the dealer to sync 'em at the 500 mile service. I' say try it, it's quick and easy....

Art.
