I've mounted some pelican waterproof toploading cases. I think they're model 1320 or 1330.
A little industrial but very strong, light and relatively inexpensive.

You don't have to get these stateside, but I believe they are made in Europe anyway.

No doubt, the Hepco's are the classiest, there's also Leatherlyke at a lower price.
All of them make the bike look pretty beamy. If you're into big booty....

Anyone try any of the GIVI cases?

Nodlive,
Just finished a 3700 Km roundtrip trough France and Spain with a Givi wingrack/ carrier with two 45 liter Givi cases and a total overweight of at least 60 KG ( remember: max for load, rider, passenger and accessories is 200KG. I'm thin but I alone allready weigh 80 kilo's, some 160 pounds in full gear!)
Needless to say, with a slight wobble at low speeds ( no steering damper ) and a very light front end the Bonnie performed spotless. So did my homemade supports wich held up the rack.

Grey, that must be the end of the trip or yoiu did not stop at the antique store when your passenger wanted. She looks tired and or peaved. :-D

I have been trying to find something for my Thrux, but cannot find a style that I think goes with the bike. The old North Face daypack works but gets uncomfortable after a while.
I am looking at some from Dennis Kirk, but still not sure. I want something easy to take off that does not leave a big bunch of hardware showing when they are off.

The Pelican case is a great idea.

Hi, Badda_Bing,
My wife wants you to know not to worry: she'll enjoy it when I try to make up for her three weeks of boredom for the rest of the year...Lord have mercy on me...

Thieu.
