I have finally come home from sea and I have started installing all the goodies I received right before I shipped out, on of which was the Triumph Tach Kit. I am seeing no Tach indications although the lighting works. According to the instructions I should not need ti hook up the additional wire from the ignitior to the harness. There is no wire in either hole the directions specify for hooking up the wire.) I have tried it both ways with the same results. I am currently using a procom ignitor. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Okay, perhaps it is Dain Brammage from rebreathing the air (on a submarine), but I found the Tachometer works alot beter if you fully insert the new wire into the harness. I needed to use the wire from between the ignitor and the wiring harness despite what the instructions say about the VIN numbers though.
