Seen a lot of posts here on chain lube, wd-40, etc and thought id post this.

The nearest bike dealer to me is a HD dealer and he has premium chain lube for 8- a can. Works great on the chain and also clutch and brake areas. Sprayed it on the chain, and even wiped down the sides from what rolled on to it and now its as clean as new.

They reccomend waiting at least 2 hrs for it to cure or overnight for best results.

Always an option for those who want a grade better than bennys or walmart chain lube and can't get to your dealer.

YMMV,

Is this LUBE an HD brand? whats it actual name? I have used Maxima Chain Wax for a long time. doesn't drip and coats the chain nicely. Is this stuff you use wet or waxy? I have found the wet stuff attracts too much ***** and as I ride on some dusty roads I hafta clean and wax my chain a fair amount. Not as much if I use the chain wax though.

I think its actually made by HD. I looked on the can to see where it is made/distributed by and it said HD.

It is a wet spray and as usual, the rear wheel and parts of the fender get goop on it.

I may use wax in the future as its cleaner. Even when you let the spray sit for 2 hrs and ride it, it still sprays on to the wheel. maybe an overnight wait will have different effects

Bel-Ray Super Clean. No "as usual" goop anywhere. Spray it on a warm chain and drive away. One can has lasted me 19,000 miles.

+1 on the Bel-ray, never used a chain lube with less fling, well really no fling with the stuff. I cannot see any reason to change but should one arise I will look into the HD brand....then again I would have to go to the HD dealer........Hmmmm.

As always though, good to know!!!!!!

Too nasty this AM to ride.......bummer
