I just developed this problem myself but I'm still under warranty. Should I try to fix it myself or let the dealer do it? If I ride it to work all week and then trip it down to the Twin Cites on Thrusday I should be ready for my 5000 mile check anyway. Also, it'll be helpful to have this thread on page one tomorrow in the daylight when I can check out the problem more thouroughly.
Are you dropping it off at Motoprimo Minneapolis or Lakeville? I can drop mine off and they can fix the same problem on two bikes at once, they'll have it fresh in their heads! Actually, I'll probably just wait till the 6,000 mile service - it's a pretty minor leak. This is *definitely* the problem I'm seeing - I got down and looked around, and this is definitely where the oil comes from. Strangely, it seems not to drip when it's on the centerstand...

I wrote an angry post on a different thread about this. But I checked too and its the same problem. I would have liked to get my bike in at the downtown Motoprimo but no onein service is responding to phone calls (4 is enough) or the email request for service. So I called Eau Claire, and they will see me Friday. If that works I'll probably just use them for future service. Your proposal made a bunch of sense though. That freeway around the Lakeville store is hectic, I try to avoid that area. If its even close to rush hour I'll bail at Lexington from I35W coming in so I tend to stay north when I visit.
