New Bonneville owner here and I'm curious to figure what mods the previous owner might have done. I wasn't educated enough about the "little extras" such as AI removal when I picked up the Bonnie so I didn't ask the seller about these things. Now that Ive been reading the boards over the past few days I've noticed that the previous owner did install the NGK wires and plugs, so I'm thinking he may have done more. Whats a quick way to identify if the AI has been removed? Thanks for helping a n00b.

Look next to the spark plugs. The AI is a second tube that goes in next to the spark plug and spark plug wire.

You'll either see the AI--quite obvious, or there will be a large bolt down in the cylinder head where the AI used to be.

So its the black "wire/tubing" running alongside the spark plug wire?

if there are 2 "wires" running to the head near the spark plug (on each side) then the AI is intact.
