Went to look at a speedy 2day, had a seat on it, I can reach the pegs ok, but it is a streach to the gear lever and brake pedal, I was just wondering if there is a good bit of adjustment to the rear of the bike (or closer to the rider) on the standard fittings or would I have to modify gear rod/brake lever?

Geoff, for me its gotta be a speedmaster, I will modify if I have too, but the seat height is wot I'm lookin' for....low for a wee short arse, that being me...hee hee...anyway, I do like the look of the Speedy, aesthetically pleasing to MY eye. Nice and relaxed, riding up through the twisting tarmac of the Scottish highlands..

Cammy, some guys have gone to a low profile seat to bring their toes closer to the controls.
Try this one from NewSpeedmaster.com although there may be others available.

Good luck, the Speedmaster rules!
