I've had the M bars for a few months, just got the NH rearsets, and I must say they're a winning combination! The riding position really feels like a "boy racer", it's extreme compared to stock, but it works well. There is a lot less weight on your rear so the numb butt won't be an issue.

The M bars are mounted "upside down" so that they're lower, you can mount them either way.

The NH rearsets are great, a little pricey but worth it. Lucky for me I got mine used here in the classifieds. I was worried that the linkage would ruin the sweet shifting feel of the bonnie trans, but it did not at all. In fact, I think it shifts better than before! The brake side required a little more effort to install than the shifter side, but it was still a job that can be done in under an hour.

here's a pic:

Highly recommended!

Jeff, looks good - I like the rear fender treatment as well...

What a little sleeper she is right now...

Cheers,

just for comparison of riding position (and a good laugh) here's what my bike looked like the 2nd day after I got it:

Gosh sweat, I coulda told you how awesome this combination is! Glad you like the new feel, it took me a little time to get used to, but now I wouldn't go back to the stock setup if you paid me!

that is in fact the bellacorse LED mini fender. Easy install, I just hacked the wires off my stock tailight and wired it up. I bought the ABS fender plate from Newbonneville and bolted the bellacorse fender to it. I used both because the bellacorse fender is really narrow, and would allow water to fling up under the seat.

The mirrors are Napoleons, they're great, and work well with the M bars.

Bubs. It's a complete system, headers and mufflers, they're separate in that they aren't one piece, but for $550 you get headers and mufflers. They are a true 2-2 in that there is no crossover.
