I don't remember exactly, but I used something like 800 grit sandpaper, primed it, then black spray paint.

That looks ***** good.
It's something that cathces you're eye in the over
all appearance off the bike but can't quite figure
what it is...Not to be a kopy-kat but I think I'm going
to do it to.

Sweat, I need to weigh in on your bike... very nice!! Of course I have a black Thrux so I might be bias. Which carbs did you choose to go with? How come you went with Bubs? You didn't like the Predators?

The Preds were great, but I found a good deal on some Bubs, and sold the Preds.

The bubs are cool, really loud, and sound good, but I may look into a 2-1 setup in the near future. The Bub headers are mild steel, and I can weld mild steel so I may make something myself.

If money were no object I'd get the Bonneville Performance HSR 41mm mikuni carb kit right now, but money is an object and the kit is about 1200 bucks more than I have to spend on the bike now...

I'm also thinking about slapping some TM 36mm mikunis on it, just for kicks, as they're only about $150 each x2, plus I'd have to make a 2-1 throttle cable, but they should net me another 5-10hp.

More to come!
