Your bikes made quite the transformation Jeff. Love the cafe look - whats the SV conversion time frame? Won't be so much the "sleeper" after that!

I'll get on the SV parts in the next couple of weeks. I'm totally burned out on working on the bike, but I'm excited about working on something other than the motor...

So I'm going to ride for a week or 2, then tear 'er down again...

I've been planning out how I'm going to do it, I'll either press the bonnie neck stem into the SV trees, machine the SV neck to fit the bonnie frame, or get some Speedmaster trees and machine a bunch of spacers. The speedy trees are wider than the bonnies, and close to the SV width. Hopefully I can do it with the bonnie or sv trees/neck = cheaper.

The back wheel won't be too bad, same size axle, same size chain, similar size sprocket, I'll just have to mess with the spacers, and get a custom rear brake rotor cut.

Sounds like a project, huh?

Looks good sweat. I always loved that you painted your T100 black. How cool is that.

Thanks man!

My whole family thought I was nuts, they all loved the orange/white, but the only reason I bought it was it was the only T100 at the dealership and their 790 collection was thin, looking back, I wish I'd gotten the Black Thruxton parked next to mine, oh well!

I didn't actually paint anything, I sold all the orange/white stuff and bought a new black tank from Triumph and some fenders off ebay.

What about the black bucket? I've been thinking about switching out my chromey. Looks very 50's with the front end blacked out. NICE.

Unitedrocker, that's nothing but a little time and spray paint.

I also really like the N-H rearsets. I've had mine since '03 and would not ever consider going back to the stock items. In time, I will redo my wheels also. However, I think I'm just going to have some alloy rims with stainless spokes made up. I'm really glad that you have your bike back. Life is too short to do without...

Thank you. You are correct sir. My soul hurt. My life was without joy or balance, except for looking forward to the first ride. Now all is well and returned to 'normal' like it should be, except that normal now is better than it used to be!
