When will they ever get those things (hd) to handle?
During my last MC shopping research, I test rode the Buell Streetfighther (read sport HD) and, man, it handled great! I found it very much like the Triumph Speed Triple, both of which require a too-far-froward position for my tastes.

I ended up buying a Bonneville T100 for several reasons: neutral seating position, handling, and looks. Not a moments buyer's remorse either.

I have a Buell Firebolt. It's the most unforgiving, pos I have ever rode. The motor has so much rotating mass that if you adjust the throttle anywhere near a corner it wants to highside you. It's dangerous after getting off my Thrux. She forgives all my ham fisted moves.

That's a shame. I'd think Buell's would handle great...their such small looking bikes (short wheel base)

At least they sound kick-ass! :hammer:

V-Rods are not bad bikes, but typically over priced. I had a change to ride a Street Rod and it was a lot of fun. Toomuch $$$ for a motorcycle.

Road King Classic. I never ride my Bonny on a day trip anymore.

Like riding a Lazy Boy down the highway.
