Hi guys, new to this forum and to Bonnys, I have a problem with the clutch hoping someone can help. I removed the clutch side cover to get it repolished, after putting it all back together, the clutch was real soft, then I noticed the pin that connects to the spring kept rising when the lever was pulled, now the pin has come out and I got no clutch, any idea on what i missed or is missing.
Cheers
Darren

Remove the cover again, then find the push rod since it sounds like it has dropped out of it's hole. And then put it back together making sure there is a little spring at the end (bottom) of that part you see moving up and down now, and that that spring is in tension and holds the push rod in place (you will know what I'm talking about once you have a look in there) And don't move the actuator arm untill the cover is bolted up or the push rod will drop out again.

Hi Jojje
I took the cover off, did as you said, had tension there as i put it back together and connected the clutch cable, but as soon as you pull the clutch lever in the push rod jumps up out of the spring.

Found the problem, the bullit shaped pin had come out, just got to find out if it matters if the flat end goes into the cover or the rounded end.

Yes, that's the pushrod I was talking about, flat side into the cover. The vertical rod (with the spring) will then lock it in place
